Hogwarts Legacy: Trials of Merlin, how it works, list and location

There are many secrets to be found in and around Hogwarts. Among them, Merlin's Trials are a good way to challenge yourself in Hogwarts Legacy. There are no less than 95 around the world, all with more or less different resolutions. These trials will require all of your wizarding skills, so not all of them will necessarily be achievable if you haven't unlocked all the spells.

How do I activate Trials of Merlin?

An introductory quest allows you to discover these tests and their activation. During the quest Trial of Merlin, Nora Treadwell teaches you to use soft mallow. This plant can be bought at the Magic Turnip in Hogsmeade, as well as its seeds to grow them yourself. All you have to do is approach the central whirlpool with one of your plants in your pocket to activate it.
