Here is our tier list of the best decks for Legends of Runeterra. It is updated with the official release of the game, the Rising Tide expansion and the arrival of the Bilgewater region.
For each deck, there is a dedicated article with its cards and synergy. You will also find a guide and advice on what strategy to adopt, what are the best matchups and victory conditions.
Note that this tier list is designed to identify the most effective decks to climb the Legends of Runeterra ladder, taking into account the accession to the highest ranks. Some decks are very good at the lower ranks, but will have a harder time at the later tiers. They will therefore be a little lower ranked here.

Tier 1
These are the strongest champion decks in the meta. They have few unfavorable matchups and force other decks to adapt.
Deck Aggro Draven
He puts the pressure on the first turn, goes straight and destroys the opposing Nexus faster than his shadow. A big aggro deck that rules the meta. Any slower deck that wants to exist has to be able to handle it.

Deck Elise/Vi Corina Control
Corina and Commander Ledros are still there. And they take advantage of the support of the new expansion to slip into a new control deck. Plenty of responses, removals, and two huge late game threats.

Tier 2
Decks that remain strong, but will on average lose head-to-head against Tier 1 decks.
Deck Maokai/Nautilus Throw Sea Monsters
Two new mechanics in the spotlight. One discards the cards from the bottom of the deck, the other activates when there are only 15 cards left in your deck. They were made to get along, and summon lots of big Sea Monsters.

Deck Lux Karma
The Lux/Karma combo is always present. We surround it with enough to hold the beginning and middle of the game, then we chain the spells. And we send a lot of light into the opponent's head.
→ Our guide to the Lux Karma deck
Deck Quinn Pathfinders
Scouts can attack twice in a single turn. So we exploit their ability to create a destructive tempo deck.

Tier 3
These decks are viable, but will require more skill to move up the ladder. Not necessarily the best choice if you just want to move up the ranks, but you can have a great time with them.
